Trying Out A New Tone - Need your opinion

Been fooling around with my tone and I decided to record this riff I wrote plus some lame uninspired Apocalypse Now clean thing. Now I need some feedback from all you tonemeisters.

i can dig on the heavy tone... kinda like getting smashed in the face with it lol. the clean im not a fan of though.

The heavy tone is very cool and has a lot of clarity. I like that a lot. What are you using? I can't nitpick on the clean sound - My judgment on clean is distorted...

hahaha - it was silent in here, and I hit play without telling anyone. My girlfriend, across the room jumped out of her chair! :biglaugh: This ain't no laptop either!

The drums need some work, and the cleans, but I am liking the dirt alot.

I'm using a
rg1077xl with blaze bridge (am I gonna get hammered for that?lol) -> toneport ux1 -> gearbox.

The clean bits were done in a hurry so yea I'll definitely work it.

Supermosher, can you be more specific about what's wrong with the drums? I would appreciate it.
