Thanks everyone for your help. I have a pick very similar to the Herdim pick that Edge uses and strum/pick using the rounded edge as he does. I'm modeling the Vox AC30 with my Digitech RP-255 and selected a different cabinet that seems to be closer than the cabinet that came with the preset download. I think that's about as close as I'm going to get with the gear I have.

glad to hear you came close he's not an easy guitarist to emulate....as much as I hear people criticize him I have the utmost respect for him he will always be one of my favorite guitarists based on sheer creativity alone he's always a guy that pushes the envelope and he does so by being so simple and understated
