Trying to wire a Big Apple Strat

I've been trying to wire up a Big Apple Strat from scratch. It's got 2 seymour duncan humbuckers and a 5 way blade super switch. Positions 1, 3, and 5 are traditional 2 humbucker sounds, position 2 is the inside coil of each pickup and position 4 is the neck as a single coil. I'm confident I've wired it up correctly. I get appropriate crystal clear sound from positions 1-4, and absolutely nothing from position 5. This can only be the switch right? I'm going to try flipping the switch around and re-wiring it to see if the problem lies with that position on the switch, my wiring, or the diagram I'm working off of, but for the sake of my own education, is there something I'm missing that would allow for the neck pickup to send signal when both pickups are engaged, or its split, but not when it acts alone?

Got it sorted. I flipped the switch and rewired everything, and all 5 positions work. Somehow when I first wired it, the neck pickup position was connected to a ground wire that was jumpering the two sides of the switch for the split stuff. I did everything the same the second time around, but I guess I was tidier.

I was working off the schematic from Fender's website.
