Tube replacement tips?

Can anyone tell me some good replacement tubes for a B-52 AT112? The amp is giving me a static sound when nothing is plugged into it in both clean and overdrive channels, so I figured some of the tubes might be weak. It has 2 power tubes (6L6 / 5881), 4 preamp tubes (12AX7), and a reverb tube (12AX7).

Email Doug @ Dougs Tubes.....he has a knack for picking out the right tube to match the amp and the sound desired! Great prices and super fast shipping too..........

I really like the new Tung-Sol reissue 12ax7 and the TAD 6l6's..........I hate JJ's but alot of people like them.

Thanks, any other suggestions on tubes? Or is this something more serious that a tube swap will not correct? It is still under its 30 day warranty so I can take it back if anyone has any experience with this amp to know of the sounds I am speaking of...

in that case, try contacting their customer service. or ask the place you bought it from.

Yeah, if it's under warranty and only 30 days old by all means take it back! Even tubes should carry a 90 day warranty against failure.......why cough up more money?!

Weak tubes with less that 30 days on the amp?! Unlikely unless it's used. Swap it out, man!
