Tube tone?

I finally got my hands on a Killer Ant and a 110 cabinet, and have a problem with the output. I am playing an old Schecter with a SD Invader and Dimarzio Dual Sound, both are very hot, but both split. I play this guitar through a old Kustom amp and love the range.

So I get the new amp and cabinet today, plug them in and the sound has a reverberation, almost an echo. I played with the volume on the amp and the guitar, and can't get rid of the reverberation. If I turn the amp up, and the guitar down the output is just too low, or too distorted. If I turn the amp down and the guitar volume up, it's better, but still get the reverberation. Tried splitting the pups, still the same. WTF could be causing this?

Re: Tube tone?

I don't know what you could possibly mean by reverberation.

Isn't that thing like a 1 watt head? Your pickups are driving that thing constantly, split or not, 1 watt isn't gonna have any type of clean headroom to speak of...just crank it and use it for crunchy sounds.
