Tubes for a Triaxis

Okay. I'm going to re-tube my triaxis once I get it back next week. (thanks again Robert!!!!!)

I know that the GT 12AX7C are really good gain tubes and I plan to orders some of those. Thing is, Triaxis has 5 pre-amp tubes all with different functions. Here they are.

V1 Lead 1 Input
V2 Input for all other modes (Rythym modes which are not gain/distortion modes)
V3 Lead and Rythym Mixer. (????!)
V4 Lead 2 Input
V5 Effects return stage

I'm going to put the 12AX7Cs in V1 and V4 since those are distortion modes. I'm not sure what the heck to do with the others. Should I go with lower gain/cleaner pre-amp tubes for those inputs? Or just stick with the 12AX7Cs for everything?

Quite a few guys have called Bob at eurotubes and have gotten a variety of different tubes for the Triaxis. I'd suggest giving him a call. I'm going to next time I need a change out.
