Tuneomatic with string-thru-body ferrules?

I'm looking at dave mustaines ESP signature king V, is there a reason the bridge is angled a bit? simply helps intonation or such?

Every electric guitar on the planet (that plays in tune) is like that. The low strings need to be longer than the high strings. Lew

so how would you measure it? go from the nut to the bottom post for 25.5"? then angle the post 3 degrees or so? its for a custom guitar i'm making, so i have no experience with these bridges.

The exact mopunting distance depends on which bridge you´re using, as ther are about 10 different styles of Tune-O matic and only about 5 of them are interchangeable. What bridge are you planning on using (Manufacturere and Model number)?
