Tung sol 6l6 DOA.........

Medium matched 6L6 tungsols...3 good, 1 doa...is this the norm or just a fluke. I've never run these.

It does happen, to every brand. Can you get a warranty replacement?

Where did you buy from? IT does happen, but happens a lot less from a place that specializes in tubes.

I did get them replaced. It was through the local GC. Yeah i know, but I needed them fast. I usually go through the tube store. But I run the mullard ri variant in everything else...no failures, no issues. I was just curious if the tung sol version was the inferior new sensor version sence I have had 0 issues with the mullard ri version.

I've been using Tung-Sols for about 11 years now without a single issue, but I'm sure it'll happen sooner or later. I don't think they're inferior to the Mullards RI, just different

I've been using EHX since the fall of 2001. EHX / Mullard / Tung Sol doesn't matter these days; they're all made in the same factory.

Genelex, Svetlana, and Sovtek are made by New Sensor in Russia too!

JJ's are made in Slovakia.
