Just had 2 dimarzio's installed in a double fat strat, and bridge sounds awesome, neck sounds awesome, middle position is totally dead. No volume at all. They are running off a 3 way switch. Any thoughts?

I think, the issue is that you have each pickup soldered to just one of the lugs (bridge lug for bridge pickup, neck lug for neck guitar) but, you missed to trhow a jumper to the middle lug for each pickup and, therefore, no sound.

if your switch, seen mounted has the following lugs:

B C
M B
N M
C N

Being:
C= common or pole
B = bridge position
M = middle position
N = neck position

You should have:

left C jumpered to right C and, from there, to the volume input.
Bridge pickup soldered to left B and one jumper from B to left M.
Neck pickup soldered to rigth N and one jumper from N to right M.

check it
