two humbuckers for an ibanez microscale electric

my girlfriend's been wanting an electric for awhile, she really like ibanez guitars and has really small hands so i took the plunge and bought her one of the 22 or so scale ibanez. ive heard good and bad things about them but mainly the pickups and nut suck so i was going to put new pickups in for her eventually.

my question is this. what sort of humbuckers (two) should i get for someone who's into stuff like smashing pumpkins, green day, and a huge david gilmour nut. i was thinking something like antiquity humbuckers but im not really sure how to get a sound she would love (maybe even 59's or seth lovers or something) anyways bros input is appreciated.

I gave my daughters one for Christmas, and it is a blast to play. The pups do suck though.

For a clean Humbucker sound from DM a pair of EJ Custom would work great!

Just remember, a short scale is going to be warmer. Get brighter pickups.

and yeah dude that's the one i got for her except it's in white, im gonna tinker around with it a little bit and throw some 500k push pulls in there with a new nut and pus so it should sound pretty good.

also do the ej pus split decently? how about parallel
