Two Lace Hot Gold and?..place your bet! (humbucker question)

Hi everybody!, salutations from the other side
Well, I am here planning to be part of this SD family

Here is my question:
I play in a power trio cover band, and we do several styles, from SRV to Police, from Men at Work to Purple, Zep.
I deal SRV or blues sound with the Lace Hot Golds (neck, sometimes middle), but I would like to have some humbucker in the bridge. And I want a real Humbucker, not the vertical ones. I have enough room to put any HB

My amp: Fender Hot Rod Deluxe, stompbox freak..no multieffect at all
Guitar: Fender 50th anniv. American Series, ash body, maple neck

So, in your opinion wich one?, and of course I want a relative parity or similar output between three pickups, even raising singles or getting more gap between HB and strings

I was searching forum, and I found several players place his bets to the Custom-Custom. I think its output is similar to my Lace Hot Gold bridge (13.2 k), so I could deal with it. And as far as I noticed, sound nice clean or distorted

Welcome to the forum...I think the Blues Trembucker is the most versatile bridge pickup in the Duncan lineup. It only comes in black though, so it may not match the color of the other pickups. If you wanted something higher in output, the Custom Custom would be a good choice.

It doesn´t matter color, really. But I am confuse, according to chart Trembucker has higher output than Custom Custom.
Anyway, versatil is a good point.

I'm talking about the PATB-3 Blues Trembucker...it's a medium output pickup, it has a resistance of 9.8k. What I like about it is that it's a very balanced pickup. It has a nice bass response but it's not muddy or boomy. It has more midrange than the '59, and it has just the right amount of treble...it'll cut through with no problem, but it's not overly bright. The output charts on the main Duncan site are slightly off for some pickups, there is no way the Blues has more output than the Custom Custom.

By the way, I have a Lace Hot Gold model in my Strat, and I think the middle and neck would match up very well with the Blues Trembucker in the bridge.

Ok then! this clarify a lot.
It seems very interesting you description, and your thought about bright, or treble response of the PATB-3 Blues Trembucker is very useful indeed.
And as you better know, strat with maple neck, do not need at all more bright than the one it naturally has

By the way, I cannot find this model at Music123, where I use to buy, but I found the Blues Saraceno. I think is the same pickup, but designed for guitars with Floyd Rose type tremolo bridges.
I have wilkinson type tremolo, but I think it should respond fine anyway

It will work fine with the Wilkinson. Nothing to worry about.
