On the NBC Daytime show:

Acoustic playing (well, Variax acoustic) backing up national singer/songwriter Julie Black. I snuck a little bit of looping in there, with the Boss RC-2, which I had gotten the day before.

These are Windows Media Player files.

1st song:

Electronically tuned 1/2 step higher, which is one of the cool things about this guitar- the song is in Fm, so I was playing Em shapes.

2nd song & goofy interview

The second song featured the Guild 12-string virtual model.

We will be on the show again in September for an electric set- yes, there will be Duncans in that guitar.

That's extremely cool. She has a great voice, and your playing sounds great, I really loved that little solo in the middle of the first song over the looped backing.

That's ridiculously cool.. on TV.. you've even been on it before, and you seemed very confident answering his question.

That's great, man! Lots of fun listening, and it's clear the two of you are very into the music, which makes it that much cooler for the listener/viewer.

very cool dave - thanks for sharing those

how do you monitor so that the 'up capo' sound is louder than the sound coming off the strings ?

the modeling sounds really good ... and cant wait to hear your electric set
