i tend to move my head up and down and left to right alot, i smile alot when playing, and for solos i gues sim concentrating/constapating alot

head shakin, foot sweepin, and i bite my tongue a little and it sticks out a tiny bit cause my lips kinda pull in.

90% of the time i don't, but i find if im playing something thats pushing me alot i tend to clench my jaw really hard, pushing my teeth together, kinda makes my jaw ache after a while.

I was with Donzo at a blues jam one night and this guy, really good player, was making such big open mouth expressions he looked like a Big Mouth Bass.
Then I kept thinking about that singing fish, Billy the big mouth bass, you know the plastic toy thing that sings Take Me to the River and Don't worry, be happy.
The dude looked like a huge fish with a hook in his lip. From that moment on, I took notice of my facial expressions.

As for myself. I've ignored this thread far too long... People tell me I look either very angry or very deep in concentration, and I have a tendency to do the wahwah with my mouth. As a result I've been trying to smile more and look like I'm having the good time that I am. Believe it or not forcing a smile actually helps me to loosen up and helps me play better.
Reminds me of a time when my Grandpa came to visit me when I worked at GC and as he looked at all the gear advertisements he said, "Why's all these young men lookin' so ANGRY all the time? Like they wanta knock somebody's head off or somethin'? Have some fun, fer chrissakes!"

No man I'm not a dictator like this even if I look like that. For some reason I don't know people don't like to argue with me and anything I do they never complain (wiping off the blood from the chainsaw)
Because of the notes I'm grabbing I think I was singing a song about the meaningless of arguing because of different religious beliefs, a line something like "good man, bad man = dead man, amen" when the picture was shot. Otherwise I smile a lot, it is just a no-kidding face caught (that is not a rare bird when I'm onstage, anyway: music is an emotional rollercoaster)
