Has anyone been to Wembley Guitar Centre? I'm thinking of paying a visit, but I don't want to sit on the North Circular for two hours if it's a waste of time.

Any thoughts?

S'pose I could always park down in Kew and take the tube. That way I could look in at Chandler's too. :scratchch

Yes I have been there and they have 2 separate rooms where you can try out amps and guitars. They will leave you in peace and not hassle you but unless you are going for something specific then their range is not vast although they are friendly guys.

If you are going its best to go during the week as its less crowded (even though they are off the beaten track!) - parking might be a problem and you might just have to park a couple of hundred yards away and walk to their premises. They also have drums and a PA center on the ground floor. Just a warning don't go to them via the North Circular Road turn off (Ikea) as there are some terrible road works taking place and you could get held up for 20 minutes. You will have to go round via Wembley Park station and then go from there - also applies to leaving as well.

I have not been there for a while but say hello them for me - some of them know me!
