Uncovered Duncan Design Pickups...

Hi all,

I'm looking at a guitar with a set of HB-102 pickups. They are the Duncan-Designed JB/Jazz combo. They're covered. Anybody experience this set uncovered?

they would be the same as the uncovered JB/jazz in terms of tone
more output and not as mellow
