Ok, two guitars in question.
1. Gibson Les Paul Studio Lite-JB/'59
Bright sounding guitar (ebony board)
'59 in the neck is perfect, JB needs more low mids
2. Dean Hardtail Select-A2P/C5
A2P a bit too sweet and smooth, but I can't really complain..It sounds great
C5 really tight and neutral sounding...Again, can't complain.
3 different options occur to me.
1. swap out an A2 mag and put into JB
2. put A2 mag into C5...put CC in Gibson, JB in Dean
3. buy some other pickup for the bridge of the Gibson
Question--Which option will fill out the sound of my gibson best? I am open to lower powered bridge pickups, as long as they have more low mids.
BTW--I play lots of blues (think Gary Moore) classic rock and Metal with both of these guitars. PODxt, and Peavey Ultra 212
Thanks in advance.
