Aria Pro II. I have an '85 Aria Strat wannabe that is better than some Strats I've seen. I payed $250 for it in '87. Customized with a DiMarzio HS-3 and a Duncan Invader, 20 years later it's still my #1 guitar for metal. It's the red one w/ the black pickguard.

castiron, I don't know where in PA you're located but there is a big guitar show just outside of Philly on the 26th and 27th of this month.

There are always a lot of small guitar companies showing their stuff. It's pretty cool.

Here's a company that a buddy of mine is doing some work for:

thats pretty cool.

i live about an hour north of philly.
thanks man.

cort is very good and very cheap.. i played the M520 and 600 models and both have a great tone, look really nice and are comfortable plus, they're both under 550$

ya they look pretty interseting.
i wanna send them an outline of a guitar i wanna design to see if theyll do it.
its like a mixture of an esp explorer, a jackson kelly, and a bc rich warlock with floyd rose tremelo, SD's !!!!, neckthrough construction...ect.

...im sorta on the path that rhandy rhoads did with jackson (im definently not saying that im remotely as good as him... but the way he designed his sig. model RRV)

Re: 'underground' guitars

uhh....

www.warriorinstruments.com I got to see a few of their instruments up close, and they are simply STUNNING. And i only played one, but it was amazing. Quite expensive, though.

Another one, though also still very expensive, is www.driskillguitars.com. I'd love to try one of those guitars. They sure are beautiful, and he definitely has some cool manufacturing techniques.
