It's the best digital reverb pedal I've ever used. Period.
I've been using mine alot lately because there's not much to do up here at night with 42" of snow on the ground!
Been using mine to split the signal of my guitar into two old Fender Deluxe amps.
And I've been comparing the Verbzilla to the spring reverb on my blackface Deluxe Reverbs and dialing in a tone on the Verbzilla that is almost identical.
It's much nicer than my Boss RV-3...much less tanky, less artificial and less metallic.
I have found a setting that pretty much nails the spring reverb of my old Deluxe Reverbs...biggest diff would be a faster bloom and initial attack with the DR's reverb...it comes on in a bigger burst or initial rush of reverb when I listen closely and very critically when going back and forth and comparing the two.
But the Verbzilla is fabulous and it's the first reverb/delay pedal I've owned that I can just relax with and not feel like I'm missing something tone wise compared to tube driven spring reverb.
Been playing alot of lap steel lately, BTW. Got out my '36 Rickenbacher bakelite lap steel with the 1 1/2" horseshoe pickup and wailing through my Verbzilla and two 50's tweed Deluxes in stereo.
Nice!
