Updated website

Re: Updated website

I think you would prefer me to be honest right? haha

I don't like how half the guitar is cut off on the top scrolling banner and i'm not overly excited about scrolling menu in the guitar gallery but other than that i think it's great. I imagine other people will like those elements i just thought i would share my thoughts just encase you're thinking the same thing :18:.

all good,
I actually like the half guitars.. call me crazy... but there you go...

Re: Updated website

I like it, and for the record I was viewing it on my phone.

It’s clean and works well, and the rotating menu in the guitar section is both unique and intuitive. The only thing I might suggest would be some type of “back to the top“ button on the guitar pages for those of us who like to scroll all the way down to the bottom but then want to move onto the next guitar without scrolling back up.

You make some fine looking guitars, and you should be proud. I really like the Green Dragon, the Mike Ibrahim, and the Peter Crossley models!

Re: Updated website

I can see them all in one place! I also dig the rotating wheel thing...

I hate the rotating wheel thing you have to spin it to see all of the options. The guitars on the site are beyon beautiful but the navigation on the site is a nightmare. It also took quite a while to load by today's standards. The fonts and designs are very dated.

I think you need a new developer. I clicked on your developer's site and that was a design nightmare - webme.com.au

FWIW I work with companies all day helping them with their ecommerce websites. I do this stuff for a living.

Re: Updated website

I'm only telling if you send me a Wolfy.
I like the wheel.
Damn it, there goes my Wolfy.

Re: Updated website

I'm sure the guitars are great but the site design and colors remind me of an updated Geocities template. It's worth a few bucks to have a pro flesh out the website in a way that is equal to the quality of the guitars that you build.

Re: Updated website

You sell your stuff for like 3000 bucks and you can't even afford a pro looking website?

I would first hire a professional copywriter and website designer (2 different designations). The copy definitely needs a major overhaul. Spelling error, incoherent marketing tagline, punctuation, ineffective delivery of message, etc.

Accustic? Come on man... 'Hand Made' should NOT be capitalized; 'Thats' instead of That's? And how many Crossley are in the business? Cause I notice you say 'makers' (plural).

I am a PR guy so these kinda thing flip me off. Sorry.

Re: Updated website

yes..
taken on board,
thanks for the constructive criticisms I am actually waiting for a back door into the site so I can make mods.
