I'm very happy with my 1988 usa strat but have found that the standard pups were a bit thin so upon recommendation put a hot rails in the bridge and put texas specials in the neck & middle. The hot rails is awesome but I'm still dissappointed with the others. My latest idea is to put a cool rails in the neck and a vintage rails in the middle. Has anyone run this set up and have any advice / feedback. I play all stuff from cleanish rock'n'roll to soft / heavy rock so by write up this seems a good choice ?
Also, am considering buying from usa to uk - does anyone have any experience of import taxes etc that may get slapped on the order ?
