UPS Strikes Again Pt. 2

SO........it's been about 2 weeks & nothing heard.

I sent Jeff a message to see if they might have contacted him or if he can check with his local guy that shipped it.

He looked at the original tracking info & saw that it was updated today & it reads:

"THE PACKAGE WAS DAMAGED IN TRANSIT. UPS WILL NOTIFY THE SENDER WITH THE DETAILS;ALL MERCHANDISE IS BEING RETURNED. UPS WILL NOTIFY THE SENDER WITH DETAILS OF THE DAMAGE "

Now...............Am I reading that correctly; are they admitting that it was damaged in transit?????

If so, I am shocked & semi-amazed.

Actually, after reading that again, they're not admitting anything (as of yet).....it's odd that they'd return it to the sender.

My guess is they drop it on his doorstep & say your packaging/wrapping sucked.......have a nice day

OOPS IS PAYING!!!!

They told Jeff to get them the blue book value of the amp.

I'm guessing they'll pay the replacement or insured value, whichever is less.....either way, I WIN!!!!!

I hate the postal service.. Today I received my Laney too (finally, that took the shop a long long time), but they haven't got my signature or anything because they've just dropped it in a room where we keep our bicycles etc, so we found out by ourselves that we had actually gotten a package.. I wonder if something is broken, I'm almost afraid of opening it, lol.

Well, the reason why it's taken so long is because I received one first, but a tube were broken and they wanted the amp back instead of just giving me some new tubes..then I send it back to them in december and then I've been waiting.
