Yes, because they are all.... wait for it... matched!
Depending on what came in the Dark Terror, then bias might be off if you use the JJ's vs the stock tubes, which could lead to more red plating.
After looking into it further, the DkT is cathode biased, so no worries about changing the bias or redplating with different tube brands. Have at it!

Only silly if you have another amp needing 4 tubes and then you have to buy another 4 tubes to get that one working too.
Matched just means that they test to the same tolerances. It doesn't mean that the universe will implode if you don't happen to put them in the same amp all at one time.

Buying a matched quad is often cheaper than buying two duets. Always good to have spares!

The universe imploding was obviously one of my major concerns. I changed strings last week and had to go through this whole big ordeal of mending a tear in the space time continuum. Kind of a giant pain. Okay cool though haha, yeah I was just curious. Not really a life and death scenario haha

Bloody hard work this string changing lark. What did you do, use a combo of two separate gauges???
I tell you, there was a lot of behind the scenes work by string companies when they were planning on making a 10-52 gauge......they had to send a broad spectrum reverse polarity tachyon pulse to reduce the potential antimatter flash.
