Have you used the "V-Treb Variable Treble Bleed Circuit", and if so, what are your impressions? A link is below. I apologize if this is an old topic, but since the site's search functionality is down there is no other way that I know of for getting this information.

It appears to just be a treble bleed that let's you adjust the resistance value of the circuit, the same can be done for a lot less by using a trim pot instead of a resistor.

Thank you, that is useful information. I guess the next question is: Does anyone use trim pots to adjust treble bleed?

I ran across this item while researching treble bleed options, and found out that manufacturers suggest somewhat different setups. While it isn't difficult to try a variety of treble bleed circuits, when I found something that permitted you to make variable adjustments using a screwdriver, it seemed interesting, but I wondered if it is really needed.

Here's a link showing someone's summary of treble bleed manufacturer recommendations, and some useful notes.

$10? Seems easier than wiring in your own trim pot. Very easy installation too. Probably a good idea to figure out what value you like then build your own with the cap/resistor twisted in parallel.
