Here's the ultimate in the Fleecing of America.... I LOVE it!

VH is hooked up with iloveallaccess.com (or they might have started it), whereas you are guaranteed a seat in the first 10 rows or the first 20 rows depending on how much you want to pay. There are some other goodies, but heck most of the show packages are already sold out.

So, for $175 you get in the frist 20 rows guaranteed. Good deal? Yeah, I think so. Considering a floor ticket is likely to run about 100 bucks anyway.

I'm looking forward to this tour with great hopes!!!
I just bought 4 tickets for VH at the Worcester Centrum in June. They were $403 for the set on the floor Section 6 row D. Yep! Those tickets are too expensive. I still have my tix stub from the 5150 tour and i think that one was $15.95 or $16.95. There's almost no way a young person can afford to see these types of shows.

So at about 25 years into their career Van Halen is comanding $100+ a ticket. Imagine what the bands that were big in the early 90's will command in ten years time. Is anyonw thinking $250 ea.? $350 ea. If GnR could get their Sh*t tgether they would be rolling in dough. I imagine Pearl Jam could get $500 but they don't seem to be the gouging type but maybe in 10 years...
That beign said , I'm looking forward to this concert quite a bit!

I got together with my brother in law and we bought 4 of the 4star passes. That will get us on the 20th row or closer. 175 a ticket. I can only justify it because I only go to one or two concerts a year now. Kinda like when Sammy and the Waboritas play. They sell passes to those on-stage bleachers. Big money for those. Probably get a hotel room next door for the night. I'm so looking forward to this.

I'm laughing my freaking butt off.... so my brother in law and I talk our wives into going to VH with these pases...

He calls me up a sec ago and says' you know what we just bought?" I said, uh, yeah, van haggar tickets. He said, "No, now we have to go see Celine Dion"

The joke is that my wife and sister in law have been talking about going to vegas for a year now and seeing the WonderWoman from Canada. Now it's just a matter of time. The horror.

I got some tickets lined up for july in toronto, I cant wait, I havent been able to see too many of my guitar heros. BB king and Jeff beck came last year and I missed it (I will never forgive myself for that) YES is coming this month, but there are no worthwhile tickets left so I think ill skip that one. As for Van Halen though, My heart is already beating like crazy and the adrenaline is pumping. I have a feeling this will be the best concert of my natural life. Not too many of my heros are still on tour, I was born too late

I payed $108 for my ticket, I would pay $200 if I had to. I dont mind helping them get a retirement fund together or whatever, as long as they play me some good music lol.

Right now, I'm on the phone with my buddy, getting him to take care of getting tickets.
2 nights are nearly sold out at the LA Staples Center. I'm gonna end up with nosebleed, it looks like.

Hey man, one of the best shows I've been to in a long time was the Diamond Dave/Sammy Hagar tour a few summers ago.

Old guys rock, especially when you're getting to be an old guy!

Personally there's no way in hell I'll pay that ticket price. Obviously that doesn't matter since they just added a second night here in Philly!

I'm kind of on the fence about this one...I'd like to go, but I can't justify paying those ticket prices to hear two songs from the Roth era and eighteen from the Hagar years.

i've got 5 star packages for worcester 6/20 and meadowlands 6/23...and 4th row center seats for worcester 6/19...I WILL PAY ANY AMOUNT OF MONEY FOR GREAT SEATS TO VH...so worth it...only band i'd do that for though...

can't wait...ed's going to reclaim his legacy...

About 6 years ago, I sat 2 rows back at a VH show in Charlotte, NC. The fella from Extreme was playing at the time. We happened to get tickets to the show because we sat next to the main soundboard guy at a bar the night before. We thought he was hitting on my friend (a guy), but it turned out he was just a nice guy who was out by himself. He was so cool that he left us 4 tickets at will-call.

Talk about a cool show. We were so close to EVH that you could almost touch him. If I get a chance, I'll go to another show.

The Yes tour with the $4million Roger Dean stage/lighting show was awesome- over 3 hours long, with lots of deep album cuts too. Easily worth the $$ to see Howe & Wakeman trade solos. They even threw in a cool unplugged set.
