Varying pickup questions.

Hello,

I'm plotting a couple of custom 7 strings and I'd like to know about some of the Duncan 7 string pickups.

1. Do the JB7 and 59'7 sound like, very like, or exactly like their six string counterparts?

2. How would you describe the differences between the 59' and Jazz in the neck?

3. Can the Duncan Custom Shop make a 7 string single coil based on the Classic Stack?

4. Does anyone have a 7 string single coil? Preferably in the middle and or neck positions.

5. What would you say is better in a one pickup guitar, JB or 59'? In the bridge.

Thanks

1. I guess they should, otherwise they haven't gave them that name

2. I don't know but people say that Jazz it is slightly treblier and with a little bit less bass. They seem to be very similar.

3. I am sure they can

4. No, I don't

5. I definetly would choose the 59'. It has a much more versatile tone in my opinion. JB sings under distortion... and so does the 59. But on cleans the 59 sets the JB apart. 59' can be difficult to balance to a neck pickup in output but, since you won't have a neck pickup, no problem!!
