Verifying pickups on a used guitar

Guy selling a guitar with DiMarzio Super Distortion S and Air Norton S in it. It seems that DiMarzio always put their logo on rail-type pickups, but I can't see a logo on the ones he's selling.

Anybody knows what's up? Remove pickups and check serial number on the back?

Yes. There should be part numbers on the back of the pickups.

Most later version will have "DP***" stamped on the base plate. The "DiMarzio" on the bobbin is for OEM versions.

Welcome to the forum!

If the seller is stating that the guitar comes with specific pickups, they should provide proof.
