THANKS... As if my life wasn't screwed up enough, now I have to find some way to get one of the splawn pro mod amps with the KT-88's in it. As if I don't have enough G.A.S. from this site, you guys have to pile another incredible peice of gear on top of my already tall want list.

I wanted a JCM-800 until I heard this. Now I don't want a JCM-800 anymore. Now I don't want anything until I get this amp. He NAILS George Lynch's tone with that amp. I mean, it's almost like he designed the amp to duplicate that sound while still getting lots of other cool sounds out of it (as is evidenced by the clip by Zach who gets a stunning fenderish tone out of the same model of amp with the same type of tubes). I don't know how he did it, but he's got mad skillz and I will stop at nothing to aquire one of his amps.

Yeah man, finally someone who noticed this. Scott gets alot of recognition from the VH crowd and the amp does do that really well, but the Lynch thing is undeniable. If you didn't notice I am a Lynch fan,, LMAO.. yeah I know.

To Shreder, yeah thats a Splawn/Mansel Guitar I had custom made a few months ago. Awesome guitar. I hate to mention this on SD forums, but its loaded with some killer sounding Rio Grande pickups, the BBQ-bucker and Genuine Texas in the neck. The marketing of these pickups is very misleading, they are screaming clear rock monsters. I love them.

I'm using 100% Splawn gear now and I couldn't be happier. In case you haven't heard this 1000 times, Scott is the best guy in the biz to deal with too. He cares about every amp and every player who uses them. He treats me like a signed national, not just some local guy. The best.

very nice axe =) and all the clips using those pups on the splawn site sound great....

I think there's a splawn dealer up in north Jersey...i'm gonna try to find out where they are to see if I can try out some pro mods, quick rods....not sure which I want...wanna try them both out and find out for myself =) definetly between the two since I have gas approved by the wife...LOL....
