Fabulous work!! I love the slightly tweaked video presentation. Your playing is just getting fantastic. Phrasing, trem work, and timing are just great. Your stuff is very fun to listen to.

so the last time i heard you play BIU, was about 3 years ago....

and you rock much better than you did before, you we're always a gifted guitarist, but from my perspective it's gotten much better. no unnecessary wankage, amen! good tone, good licks... I dig it all :)

Thanks, guys! I definitely feel different about my playing after making this song. I used to care a lot about technique and trying really hard to "impress" with "hot licks" in the past, but now I just play 100% for my own enjoyment. I can't keep up with all the shred-heads these days anyway :P

And about the Tone Zone, I used to hate that pickup. For god knows why, the first time I had one was when it came stock in my mahogany Ibanez 3120, it's a dark sounding pickup to begin with. So in THAT particular guitar it was mud city. My Peavey is of a much lighter wood, don't remember what kind, but the tone combo is heaven. I have another Tracer lying around that I might put an Air Zone in to see if I can get a more classic variation on the TZ goin'.

I've owned a few PV Tracer Deluxe and a Nitro Active and they are sweet. A Tone Zone in Poplar is a nice combo.

Is the Deluxe the one with only two pickups and a maple fretboard? And do you know if the Nitro is also 24.75" scale? I've been looking into getting one.

Great playing and all but what really stands out to me is the songwriting!

Your songs capture my attention, are catchy without sounding like some other song, and have a voice that's assertive but not negative or aggressive.

Keep writing and recording and posting!
