Vintage '59 Seymour Duncan humbucker set, HELP!

A few months back, I helped a non guitar playing buddy price an estate that had quite a few interesting guitars. In payment, he let me keep one, a 1982 Epiphone USA (Kalamazoo!) Spirit II. After I cleaned it up and fixed some of the basic electronics, it absolutely rocked. However, I have a burning desire to finally buy a PRS Custom, so sadly, this guitar had to go. I also recently found out, when prepping the guitar for sale, that it does not have the original gibson pups inside it, but actually early 80's 59 Seymour Duncan's and, based on my research of this forum, most likely hand wound by the man himself. My question is, do I sell the guitar as is, or, as I believe these pickups are pretty rare, and in great condition, pull them from the guitar, sell them separately (or keep them!) and put some other SD's in the guitar. Since I'm not really sure what they're worth, to either a collector or a player, I'm hesitant to list a price. Hoping you guys can help me out, thanks!

Buy a new production set to put in the guitar and keep the 'vintage' ones for yourself.

I'd keep them sum*****es. Love '59's. Just installed another today.

That is an A-duke idea. I would do the same.

^^This guy here made his 5th comment in 7 years to tell you to keep them. That's gotta tell you something.:D
