Vintage Blues Set in Cream Zebra?

Hey all - Looking for the Sh-1 calibrated set in Cream/Black zebra but haven't seen it anywhere. Is that a custom shop thing or am I just overlooking it? I don't see color as an option anywhere in the form of the "Vintage Blues Set".

Obviously I could just order a Sh-1n and Sh-1b separately in the color I want but they wouldn't be calibrated together......
so is there a performance benefit in this calibrated thing or is it a "marketing" term?

Thanks!

I never seen any of the combo sets in zebra,( hot rod, vintage blues or distortion mayhem)
but maybe it can be special ordered?
I know it is about $15 cheaper to buy the combo as opposed to buying each one separate so it is worth the inquiry via email or phone

Re: Vintage Blues Set in Cream Zebra?

One can special order a packaged set of different colored 59's. (or Mayhems or Hot Rodded, etc) However all of the pickups are "calibrated" for their respective position of either neck or bridge, so just ordering the separates will get you the same pickups. It's true the packaged sets save you a bit, but there's a wait of a week or so to get them made as a special order.

But if ordered as individual pickups, you would order a SH-1n and a SH-1b and you would get your calibrated set.

meg,

If you are getting these for a Les Paul, please let me recommend a SH-1b and a SH-PGn as your set. a set of 59's are great, but there is something about a Pearly Gates neck that just screams vintage Les Paul Tone.

just order each pickup separately. The vintage blues set is just a 59 neck and a 59 bridge anyway. Enjoy the sounds!

Actually they are for a LP. I had a PG-n and a Custom Custom-b in a previous guitar and it felt like the PG had a lot more girth than the custom custom and I was never happy with the way they played together. So I'm kinda hesitant about mixing a PG with something else. I assume you have experience with PG and '59 together?
Thanks!
