Hi All,
I have a quad set of 15 ohm Celestion G12-65 speakers that came out of a Marshall 4x12 straight cabinet from 1979. I replaced them in 2010, since then they've been sitting in the shipping container boxes (wrapped in plastic bags) that the replacements came in (WGS Vet 30's and HM75's - needed a different sound from this cab). Since they've been sitting here taking up space for 4 1/2 years I might as well sell them. I know several years ago these were highly sought after and would fetch a pretty penny but I haven't really kept up with the market for them for a while now.
As they're a set that's been together for 35 years I'd like to sell them in one lot. Anyone here have any idea what the value of such a set might be? Also, eBay is getting a little pricey for their services, do you think Reverb dot com would be a viable alternative for moving them quickly?
Thank you in advance for any insight you might be able to provide!
