Vintage Dimarzio Super Distortion. Any value?

I got this old really old Dimarzio DP100 in my parts box. Had it for ages came in an Les Paul i bought once. A guy asked if I had any spares Humbucker and I said yes sure I look around and I find this one amongst others. I had two DP100s and they differ quite a lot. This one have different feet and hand stamped "DIMARZIO USA" and "DP100" it looks really really old could this one be from the first production preproduction in early seventies. I wonder if it have any "vintage value"? I was going to sell the pickups for 40-50 bucks each...

Damn I wish I bought this crappy old Kay with factory DMZ Superdistortions for £50 I saw advertised....
In the UK I see them on Gumtree for £50 to £70 each

I'm 99.9% certain that's a cheap Allparts "Distortion" Super D copy they used to sell. I just sold one myself not too long ago...funny. I assume the height adjustment screws are slightly larger than on your other pickups? If so, that's pretty much a dead giveaway, as well as the bobbins, which are different than DiMarzio's.

I've owned and sold several very old Super D's from mid-'70s through mid-'80s and I can say with a great deal of certainty that's not a real DiMarzio. Someone's tried to make it look like one, but it's a knockoff for sure.

I just noticed only 2 holes in the bobbin tops in the OP pictures. Pretty sure genuine DMZ always have 3. Happy to be corrected.

I've got at least one, probably more, genuine old Super D's in my parts box. Probably a PAF or 2 as well. They're not worth anything in particular, even here in the UK where used pups are harder to find.
So even if yours was real, it'd not be worth a great deal!

They were probably Super 2s.
