Cool. I'm slightly envious of that guy. Must be great to be rich, and seek out nothing but the true cream of the crop. Better than playing the stock market, if you ask me.

Okay, this site leaves me confused, and perhaps you guys can help.

When I bought my Strat, it was labelled as a '79. It has a 3-bolt neck, thinline neck profile, ash body, hard tail, 2-tone burst. Pics are at http://randombenpix.tripod.com.

However, according to his serial number dating chart, the year is a 1980. Is that possible? What do you think accounts for this?
