Vintage rails for Tele?

Howdy,

I'd like to see SD make a dual rail p/u similar, if not identical to the Joe Barden Danny Gattons. Perhaps it could have a vintage voice? I'm intrigued with rail p/u's, but I don't want a "hot" p/u. Seymour are you reading this?

+1. How about a Cool Rails Tele lead? It seems to me like there's a big jump from the Lil 59 to the HR.

Thanks for the reply. I checked SD's website after reading your:gurmpy: post and currently thier ISN'T a Cool Rails Tele p/u! Sounds like a good idea, though. I guess a Cool Rails for Strat wouldn't fit?
Did there USED to be a Cool Rails for Tele? Maybe I'm missing something, if so I guess that's the point of my original post: Thier NEEDS to be a less hot Tele Rails p/u offering.

FWIW Guitar Fetish (GFS Pickups) Have 3 types of tele rails pickups. A hot rails type, a modern voiced (cool rails?), and a vintage voiced rails (vintage rails?) for bridge AND neck. You can pick up a calibrated set for about the price of 1 pickup. Not sure how they sound but they have my curiosity piqued.
