Vintage Schtuff on the bench

One of my longtime clients brought in his '65 Melody Maker. It used to be his brothers axe, and he wanted to switch it over for lefty playing.

The original finish is in decent shape, repopped Kluson tuners about 5 years ago, Leo Quan Badass been there for years, and my freshly fabbed bone lefty nut. The medium jumbos needed a spot level around the 15th on the bass side. This things kicks ass even with the single coil.

Knew you cats would dig seeing it.

This model has plenty of cred to get the job done... Correct me if I'm wrong, but I remember Pat Travers playing one, and so did Joan Jett. Of course - both had modded guitars, not stock.
