The risk you run is more a problem of the speaker having not a frequency response and clarity to handle modern high gain amps. If you're tuning to A and playing through a triple rectum fryer something like a greenback might turn to mush.

Very good point but don't blame it on the speakers completely
It also depends on the amount of gain used and also heavily on presence and mid settings. A contemporary very high gain sound with somewhat tamed mid that sounds alright through V30 or T75 may indeed sound mushy through Greens down there.
Anyway, your amp if you don't use your amp dimed or don't tune much below C, Greens are supposed to sweeten up the Ironheart nicely.
