vocal warm-ups, practice, instruction

Her Little Mojo Minion
Finally dawned on me to work on vocals during my commute; it's been fun and interesting, learning my range, limits, strengths, etc. Vocals have always been difficult for me, despite me hearing them in my head how they should be.

While I don't think I'll ever reach a point where I'm going to love my vocals, I'm a little more confident in doing demos for singers to use as an outline.

This guy has the best vids I've seen. He lets his voice crack and doesn't edit it out to show how perfect he is, he shows that it takes awhile to warm up to achieve what you want to, and gives great examples. I wish I'd found him years ago.

I also dig the app "vocalizer" that's free and has a ton of warm ups.

While she goes way higher than my range, I like this vid for warming up too:

If you have any helpful stuff for vocals (especially some vocal distortion) please post em here.
