Many guitarists don't realize the newer RAT pedals aren't the same as the early models on which it's great reputation was built. Yeah, the ones with piercing harmonics and a thickness that penetrated. We use a recipe that revives some of that old school girth.
This mod brings the pedal back closer to the older, tighter RAT sound. Bass response is increased, giving this pedal some seriously tight low end. Mids are boosted a bit, b/c we know players using the RAT are soloing in LOUD and raw situations. And the counter-intuitive filter now is made more versatile to give you a wider range of usable tones.
