My guitar is a H\S\S with 2 250k pots, i am putting in a TB-5\SSL-4\SSL-4 and thinking of changing the volume pot to a 500k. can i do this?

This should answer most questions. Since the SSL-4's are pretty powerfull using 250k pots can be a bit counterproductive because they become too dark. I tried SSL-4's with 250k pots and they were too dark. Then I used 500k and they sounded better but a little bright. If you want a compromise you might want to use 500k for the volume and 250k or 375k for tone.
