volume pot question with JB and Classic Stack plus

Im installing new pups in my Ibanez roadstar 2. 1 JB trembucker and 2 classic stack plus. Should I be installing a 250K or 500K volume pot? Im looking for some more bluesy type distortions and some nice rich clean sounds.

No magical answer here. You've got to try it and listen. Remember, every part of your guitar contributes to its sound. Since SD recommends 500K pots with Humbucking pickups, I'd start with that. If you find it too bright, then try a 250K pot. If it still doesn't sound right, try the other kind of pot :smokin: ; then it won't matter.

Start with a 500k pot. If its too bright knock it down to 250 with a couple of resistors.
