"Volume switch" for the fx-loop??

My amp has no lead boost or anything like this. Boosting in front is no option neither coz i play high gain all the way...

Is there something simple to put in the fx loop where i can switch between two volumes? What about a volume pedal in the fx loop?
I could build a switch like a volume pedal which i can bypass. Someone build/use something like this?

The FX-loop is serial and line level.

Maybe someone has experience with a Volume pedal in the loop?

I have a BYOC Tribooster that has a good clean boost setting. I have it in my FX loop for when I need more volume. It works pretty great.

You can use an EQ pedal in the effects loop for a volume boost. I've used a Boss GE-7 for this purpose. Provided your power amp has some headroom you can get a big boost in volume. You can also tailor the EQ of the boost, which is useful - boost the mids, for example.

Thanks! I thought of an EQ Pedal too. But I think a simple volume boost will do it too!
I always use much mids.. thus I think a simple volume boost for lead or a volume drop for rythm should work

If you leave all the EQ sliders in the centre and just use the level slider the GE-7 will work as a simple volume boost. Guess it depends on whether you can find a cheaper option.
