o.k. ,now i know there is good and bad quality pot's.who makes the better one's,and how much should i expect to pay for them?can $10.00 get a good quality volume control?

CTS makes good pots. Check out: http://www.guitarelectronics.com/ Less than $5.

i've read from the tele forum that weber makes pretty good pots. although made for amps, they are recommended for guitars too. never tried them but for $1.75 per pot it might be worth a try.
