the guy who posts replies on behalf of proguitarshop on their youtube demos reckons the cooltron 'over the top boost' pedal is pretty much a vox in a box

I dont know but from the soundclips the vox cooltron brit boost sounds better to me, maybe not as vox though..

Carl Martin sounds really good here to me, of the ones I have tried. Analogueman (SP) has a new one here ... I have not heard it save clips.

Brian Wampler has just released an AC pedal check his site http://www.wamplereffects.com the videos on the site sound really good. Otherwise other then Carl Martin and TECH 21 I'm not sure of any other Ac emulating pedals although Im sure their are tons out there.
