Vox Student amp

Anybody ever play a Vox Student amp? Got one off ebay not working, but had a glowing (what else is new) review at HC. This is a little one knob amp with an 8" bulldog. I love these little tube amps from the sixties and was wondering if this is like getting a super low wattage AC 30. Hee hee, asking for too much? :smoker:

Can't help ya unfortunately. Know very little about Vox amps other than when I hear someone else use one I love it, but when I play through it it sounds like crap????

Wonder what THAT is all about??

Ha ha, oh great! I actually saw that in one of your other posts and now I'm worried about the same thing BUT--the amp was cheap, it's tube, it's from the sixties and if it sounds like crap when I get it back from the tech I'll just hold onto it and see if it goes up in value. :laugh2:
