Vox+Tele=Which pup?

Alright guys first post here! i have been researching the forum to see what other players suggest for similar guitars, but i just wont to be specific about what i want, so ill cut to the chase and make this as simple as possible! Okay here goes!

Guitar - 06' MIM Standard Fender Telecaster

Amp - Vox AC30 CC2

Music playing Style - Pop/Rock, Indie/rock, Alternative/Rock, and some Classic Rock.

Clean Tone preference - Clear and chimey, Too hear all the notes without mud.

Overdrive Tone preference - Nice growl, mid rangy though not harsh, nor too mild but does still have a good bite to it.

Okay so what pickups do you guys suggest for the neck and bridge positions of my Telecaster? I have guitars with p-90's, humbuckers, and burns trisonics, so i have a lot of ground coverd already. I just want to improve on my tele's tone. Country is not my thing so losing some of that twang isn't going to hurt my tone, though i dont dislike the twang, but I'm not going to be playing any country. Our band mainly plays modern rock, and i tend to play towards the more indie rock style. So basically I'm looking for a "pretty" sounding neck pickup, and a "growling" bridge pickup for my over driven tones.
I hope I'm not asking for too much, but i hope this explains what I'm after.

Re: Vox+Tele=Which pup?

Hey ac30rocker,

Welcome to the forum! Personally, I would go with a set of Antiquities. If those are a little too pricey for you, then these are the combos I would try.

1. Fender Nocaster set
2. Fender Original Vintage Tele set
3. Duncan Alnico 2 Pro set
4. Duncan Vintage Stack set
5. DiMarzio Twang King set
