I have put in a fulltone inductor, true bypass 3pdt switch, & pot and done various other mods to my Vox pedal and it sounds as good as any pedal I ever heard but I was wanting to add a LED light to it but I am not quite sure how it would hook up. I probably could figure it out by experimenting until I got it but I was wondering if anybody out there knew how to do this. Thanks

Try sending Forum Member STRATDELUXER97 a PM. He'll be able to help you out. I see you already have a 3PDT switch. Adding an LED would be very easy at this point.

I have already figured out how to do just about any mod and have a great deal of info on on how wahs work & how to do many mods and which mod does what & so forth. And it was easy to figure out this led mod to. I just figured someone might be a little generous and give me a little info but I was misstaken. It was easy to find this info and all the info you need for mods on other forums & through google search.

Adding leds to a pedal aren't difficult at all. The key is to put the led in series after the switch so that when it turns on and the circuit is complete it turns on. Obviously, if the pedal is switched off, a complete path isn't made and it won't light.
Why ask a question if you don't give people a prompt amount of time to respond? Why ask a question if you know the answer already? Why attack good people on this board? If you post continuously like this, you're not bound to make many friends here

All great links....Try to learn what happens when you change any component,rather than just becoming another parts replacer....If you know how each and every component changes the circuit(A wah is a filter)then you can learn to dial your wah in perfect for your own ears instead of just copying? It's cool to use the links as a jump off point of course....Learn something and have fun while doing it...My original post to you wasn't done to piss you off and I was offering you the extra help,but as I said,I don't know you? I do offer help to "forum brothers",but you have to convince me first that you are one? :burnout:

I need to stress this....You are paying people not just to replace or change components,but for the time they took to figure out how to improve on the circuit..You're paying people for their knowledge...I've spent hours upon hours with some pedals until they satisfied my own ears.I can't expect anyone else to like the tone of any pedal I Mod,if I don't think it has something to offer first!

John walked me through modifying my TS-9 and got it right with just 1 e-mail!!!
Plus he didn't charge me a penny, Even though I still owe him a case of brew when I see him
He is quick to share , but I'm sure we all need to make some money every now and then
I'm a full time repair tech and I have too many "freinds that want work for free, even thogh my prices are the least expensive in the area
