VW First Act guitar

Never heard of first act guitars but the built in preamp in the VW so you can play through the car stereo is pretty cool. Even though I don't know when you'd ever use that.

good idea too bad they are made from plywood. literally. they sell them at walmarts

I play through my car already. Just get any distortion pedal and a cassette adaptor, plug the guitar into the pedal, then out to the cassette adaptor, turn up the volume and you're set. I use my Ts9, 1 cable, and a 1/8'' to 1/4'' phone plug adaptor......

The "pre amp" is basically the car stereo. The distortion unit is built into the guitar.

I think it's lame....something I'd never use.

First act entry level guitars are at walmart.. Supposedly they are also a custom builder that has $1000 plus hi end axes.

That's correct. I've got a First Act calendar at the office that has pics of some really gorgeous guitars. Who'd-a thunk it?

I really don't get Volkswagen's idea with the amp built into a car. If you use it with the car running, you're using gas which is expensive. If the car is turned off, and you're using the amp you're going to run the battery down. :dunno:
