wah wah into non bypass pedals worse sweep

My wah wah pedal go worse when i plug it into my pedal board. The sweep just wasn't the same and the gain out of the pedal got really thin. THe only thing i could think of is that the other pedals in my pedal boards are not true bypass so each pedal LOADS down the output of the wah wah causes its DB gain and sweep range to get worse why is that?

The loading of the non-true bypass pedals jsut "loads" down and "tone sucks" the wah wahs sweeping range alot , all the frequencys are just sucked down and made thin why?

I'd try experimenting with what you put after it, fuzz units really don't work well with wah's at all for example though some other modulation type effects generally will be fine.

Consider getting a FoxRox wah buffer. It works wonders and I can even use my fuzz pedals after the wah and not get any loading effects.
