a DDn with an A5 is a DDNn with an A5...there is no real JB neck. As for the sound...I belive than Artie has a DDn A5...

Since JB is a DDb with al5 , you could have a JBn this way , like Dimarzio offer the Evolution bridge and neck

I'm a the same problem with DiMarzio pup. The Super Distortion as the DD are using thick ceramic magnets - thicker than a standard A5. What should i do: get other spacers or shim the A5 (under or above?) with a piece of wood?

I am assuming that you would be using the DDn w/a5 as a bridge pickup. I bet that using it as a neck pickup would too muddy.
Technically speaking, the Jazz is the JB neck. Seymour designed those as a set. I would call it a DDn a5
