Wamoth SG Pickguard/Will it REALLY not fit my SG?

Alright...I have an Epiphone SG Special. It's a POS. It's SO plain looking, I cant stand it...so I figure I should slap a pickguard on it and make it look cool. I like the look of the '61 Re-issue pickguard, but I cant find one to purchase ANYWHERE. I found one on www.warmoth.com but, it says something like "These pickguards are meant to fit our custom Warmoth-built SG bodies. They are not mean to retrofit your guitar" Are they serious? Or are they just trying to get me to buy one of their SG's? If anybody can let me know, or hook me up with a link to a site where I can get one somewhere else, that'd be awesome.

Warmoth's neck pockets are Fender spec, so I'm guessing the relationship of the neck pickup slot to the neck pocket and/or the neck pocket shape itself will likely not accomodate your SG.
